Setting a custom mount location for Shade Drives

  1. Navigate to Settings > Drives > [Your Drive] > General

  2. Locate the "Custom mount path" section

Finding a mount path

Once you've done this, you will be able to change the mount location for any operating system on which you may open Shade.

Locating path bars

MacOS

On MacOS you can enable pathbars in Finder by pressing ⌘ + ⌥ + P. You may then right-click on a location in the pathbar that appears and press "Copy [Location] as Pathname" and paste that into Shade.

Windows

On Windows, you can locate the pathbar at the top of the File Explorer. Clicking this will allow you to copy this path so you can paste it into the application.
