Drive snapshots are necessary to access when files may have been changed or moved around and you'd like to revisit a previous version of your drive
In order to do this, go to the sidebar and click on the ellipses next to your drive name, and then select "Snapshots"
From here, you will be able to view snapshots with time increments of 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes
After you've found the time you'd 'like to revisit, simply press "Mount Snapshot" and you will be able to view the drive at the time you selected, like a Time Machine :)
