Create a personal drive for work and add friends and collaborators as guests. You can further manage settings from here.
Create a team workspace and invite the others as members if you have multiple drives and projects that needs to be shared and edited across multiple people
I’m a videography team and I have multiple clients
Create a team workspace and invite your team members. We do not recommend adding clients to this workspace unless you need to them to have access to all your drives. Team members can now inherit specific permission levels(admin, manager), and can be grouped together into various user groups for easier permission management.
External clients should be managed and handled as a guests in Shade. Guests allow you to explicitly provide specific types of access and control at the drive, folder, or file level. You might separate out their projects by folder and have drives specific to each client. or structure each drive as a new project and share each drive with a guest. This organization is entirely up to you.
Shade also has a “showcase” folders option and offers built in shareable and share to upload links that allow you to grab the data that you need from your files.

For small to mid sized enterprise, or even larger, security and permission management is paramount. That’s why Shade has SSO/SAML support.
For extremely high security environments, Shade does offer the ability to self-host the Shade workspace infrastructure completely (these are on one-off bases and will involve an implementation fee). If you’d wish to set up an extra layer of security by hosting Shade in a private VPC or a fully self-managed Shade workspace that is isolated from the Shade managed infrastructure for all other team workspaces (either in Shade’s cloud namespace or in your namespace), please contact sales here.
Create a team workspace as before. This workspace can govern as the entire company’s workspace.
Hook up SAML/SSO using Shade’s easy SAML application authentication along with your existing identity provider such as IdP. This configuration should be smooth and straightforward.
Set in proper permissions. For example, in workspace settings, we'd recommend setting default inheritance permissions to be None or View-Only for Workspace members. This ensure that core types of drives, no matter who creates them, will have specific access relative to specific groups or members.
Set up an "Archive-General" drive that allows anyone across any department to access stock elements, general brand kits, etc. so your team is unified and search through one repository of data. Depending on location and permissions, data is easily transferable across departments.
Shade offers really easy views to see who has access to what, when they got access to what, and where those files are located. This is useful for audit logging, legal compliance, and more.
